Pushing to Keysville Road - 10:10 a.m.

The Confederate right made a slow advance against Rockne's reformed division, and is just reaching west of the prison. On the Confederate left, MacDonald's men were harassed by cavalry on Cemetery Hill, but eventually drove them off and continued the push up Soudersburg Pike.

Engel's Division is pushing through the middle of town and has crossed 1st Street. Howard's Maryland Brigade is up in force and Engel's lead regiments are embattled just north of Keysville Road.

One of Maxwell's cavalry (Texans) pushed through the line and briefly captured some of enemy guns before being driven back through town.
