Fondy's Division has engaged on the Confederate right, with Rockne's men forming a line to their south, to the left rear of Noll's left at the prison. Engel's men have advanced to the prison and are pushing hard on Noll's Pennsylvanians, who are trying to fall back before them. Putnam and Nash have regiments in the yards on the south side of 1st Street. Howard's Brigade is still in reserve, but has passed to the south of the foundry.

Caine's Texan's have pushed to the front of McDonald's Division, with Maxwell's cavalry having formed in the divisions rear. Noll's cavalry is on Cemetery Hill, firing on Caine's left.
