Advancing on Soudersburg from the north is a Confederate force under command of Major General Matthew Fondy. His command has three divisions, including his own:
Fondy's Division (Major General Matthew Fondy)
MacDonald's Division (Major General Gregor MacDonald)
Engel's Division (Major General Todd Engel)
The force includes forces from Kentucky, Texas, Alabama, North Carolina, Maryland, Tennessee and other states. There are reportedly some expert marksmen from the Appalachians included.
The Federals are advancing from the south with two divisions under command of Major General Knute Rockne:
1st Division (Major General Knute Rockne)
2nd Division (Major General Charles Noll)
The command has a large number of western regiments and a large contingent from Pennsylvania.
The opposing forces will be fighting for control of the town of Soudersburg, as well as the crossroads at Orchard Junction and Diller's Corner. The action starts this coming weekend and continues through August 8th.
