Brigade Commanders Down

Initial reports indicate that at least two federal brigade commanders have been killed or severely wounded in the fighting in Soudersburg Town between 9:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.  One may have been killed by a sharpshooter. A Confederate battery commander was also reported killed on a hill to the northwest of town.

Division headquarters from two opposing divisions can be seen on Soudersburg Pike close to the fighting.
